The Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) proudly marked a significant milestone today with the official relaunch of Kalamana — its signature magazine that celebrates bold ideas, smart strategies, and inspiring insights in management and beyond.
Dormant since 2020, Kalamana returns with a renewed vision, symbolizing the revival of SLIDA’s intellectual voice and its enduring commitment to thought leadership in the public sector. The relaunch ceremony was held at the Sanhinda Hall on 02 July 2025 and was graced by the presence of the Director General, Mr. A.V. Janadara, along with Additional Director Generals, SLIDA staff, and members of the newly inducted Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) cohort.
The inclusion of the newest SLAS officers in the ceremony served as a symbolic bridge between tradition and transformation, underscoring SLIDA’s continuous journey toward excellence in public service education and innovation.
With its relaunch, Kalamana is poised to become a dynamic platform for public sector professionals, scholars, and thought leaders to engage in meaningful discourse that drives progress and policy innovation across Sri Lanka and beyond.
